Activities, Sports & Leisure

Game drives

Professional guides conduct game drives in open game viewing vehicles in the early mornings and late afternoons. The thrilling late afternoon and evening drives include sunset drinks and stunning scenic vistas of the Yellowwood Gorge.  At this Gorge, the road twists down the escarpment between waterfalls, cliffs, and forests. Night game drives are also available on request.

Bird watching

Bird watching is a rewarding experience at the Entabeni Game Reserve, which is available from a newly built hide opposite a watering hole.

Hiking and walking safaris

Hiking and walking safaris allow guests to learn about the smaller creatures in the game reserve. Plant life/flora identification, as well as footprint tracking, make for an extraordinary wildlife experience.

This region is ideal for star gazing due to the lack of lights and pollution.  Many stars and the milky way are clearly visible and can be admired a lot better than from the cities.

Relaxing by the outdoor swimming pool make for a favorite past time activity in between wildlife encounters, meals and walking safaris.
