Camdeboo Manor Room

The Camdeboo Manor offers four luxuriously furnished rooms with a four-poster king-size bed, a full en-suite bathroom, with a tea and coffee facility alongside a mini-bar. Each suite having access to a communal lounge with satellite TV, a DVD and sound system.

The Courtyard Luxury Room in the Manor has four luxuriously appointed rooms with four-poster king-size beds, full en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities and mini-bar. Each room has access to the communal lounge with satellite TV, DVD and sound system. 

Peppertree Cottage

Peppertree Cottage is nestled in a secluded part of Camdeboo Manor's beautiful gardens, offering a romantic setting for honeymooners or couples seeking an extra level of privacy. The spacious cottage features a king-size bed, a warming fireplace, a luxurious en-suite bathroom and kitchenette facility.

Hillside

Hillside offers a glorious elevated position resting upon the Sneeuberg Mountain slopes, a private setting with beautiful views of the valley. The cottage dates back to the early 1900s and has been restored to its former glory now with modern living spaces. Ideal for families with relaxed and spacious living areas, three double en-suite bedrooms, a swimming pool and a private safari vehicle with a ranger.

Directions

The Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve is located to the east of Graaff-Reinet, in the centre of the malaria-free Eastern Cape's Great Karoo.
A collection can be arranged by from Graaff-Reinet's Airstrip which is the closest airstrip or from Port Elizabeth Airport being the closest national airport, or choose to self-drive to the reserve.
Just 280 km, approximately three hours by road from the closest national airport in Port Elizabeth, with car hire available from the airport; roads are in fair condition and standard vehicles are sufficient for the journey.
Plett Air Safaris offers daily scheduled flights, excluding Mondays, from Plettenberg Bay airport to Graaff-Reinet’s airstrip, which is then followed by an hours transfer to the reserve.
Road transfers from Port Elizabeth:
A three-hour journey, 280 km by road from the closest national airport in Port Elizabeth, with daily flights from Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. Please contact us should you require a transfer.
Directions Leaving from Port Elizabeth International Airport:
Exit airport and turn right at the traffic circle into M11 Allister Miller Road.
Travel 2km and at the traffic lights turning left into Forest Hill Drive. After Travel 700 meters and at the traffic lights turn right into M7 Walmer Boulevard.Travel 500m and at the 3rd set of traffic lights turn left onto M4 Settler's Way. Travel about 6km and exit left on 751A, keep right and exit right onto N2 towards Cape Town. After 1.5km exiting left on the 748 off-ramps onto the R75 Commercial/Uitenhage Road. Continue for just 350m then turn right at the 2nd set of traffic lights onto R75 Uitenhage Road. After 14km exit left onto R75 Uitenhage and follow R75 Graaff-Reinet Road. Continue for 209km on the R75 and turn right onto the R63 Pearston/Somerset East Road. Travel 7km and turn left onto Petersburg Road (unpaved dirt road).
Once you have turned onto the Petersburg gravel road, drive for approximately 27km. Cell phone reception ends after just 3km along this gravel road. Keep driving through the Samara Gates, one single and two double sets of electronic gates with push buttons until you reach the Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve main automatic electronic double set of gates. Continue through the double gate and follow the signboard to the Mount Camdeboo “Reception”.
From Graaff-Reinet:
Leaving Graaff-Reinet to follow the R63 / R75 to Port Elizabeth / Somerset East for approximately 26 km.
Turning left on to the R63 Pearston / Somerset-East Road (Blue Crane Route). Travel for approximately 7km to the Mount Camdeboo Sign on the R63 Pearston and Somerset-East road.Turning left on to Petersburg gravel road.Once you have turned onto the Petersburg gravel road, drive for approximately 27 km. Cell phone reception will end after 3km along this gravel road. Drive through the Samara gates- one single and two double set of electronic gates with a push button system until you reach the Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve main automatic electronic double set of gates.Continue through the double gate and follow the signboards to the Mount Camdeboo “Reception”.

Parking
