At Oceana, guests have the opportunity to view the game from the vantage point of their elevated veranda, while sipping warm coffee at the crack of an African dawn, or at the colourful end of a perfect day.

Guests are invited to climb aboard a safari vehicle and as the lazy African afternoons stretch out seemingly endlessly, spot Oceana's range of free to roam animals. They pack sundowners and stop at any number of vantage points for memorable moments.

Beach walks

The staff at the Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve are on standby to take guests down to the beach, to enjoy the feel of the sand beneath and the ocean mist is cooling one down.

Curio Shop

The curio shop is situated close to reception and equipped with various clothing items branded with Oceana Reserve logos. There is also a selection of jewellery, souvenirs curios, books and gorgeous soft toys for children.

5 hole Putting Green

Guests at the Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve in South Africa have the chance to improve their golf game on the lodge's putting green and ensure those three putts, become two.  Although many believe that golf is a game of luck, the more you practice, the luckier you get.

Rock and Surf Fishing

At Oceana, guests are provided with the equipment to enjoy fishing without the sound of technology and machinery.  An experience where it is all about the catch at the end of a day’s fishing.

Texas Pitching Washers

Washers is a game, similar to horseshoes, that involves two teams of two players that take turns tossing washers towards a “washer box”.  In order to score, one must place a washer into the box, into the can that is within the box, or within one foot (shoe size) of the box. It’s great fun.

Games Room and Home Theatre

The Games Room at the Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve in the Eastern Cape of South Africa is designed for guests who need to relax and unwind.

It includes every comfort and technical innovation to support indoor activities.  The main attractions are the Shuffle Board, Pool Table, Computer with unlimited internet access and Home Theatre System.
