Olonana features an organic garden from which fresh vegetables and herbs are used in the restaurant. Guests can decide to enjoy picnics in the bush or dine outside alongside a magnificent log fire.
The mini-spa at Olonana Tented Camp offers a range of treatments for guests to enjoy. Treatments include facials and massages. Africology and French marine-based Thalgo products are used throughout the spa.

Maasai culture and preservation is one of Olonana’s great concerns. Guests are offered the opportunity to visit the camp's various projects such as the wetlands project and the tree nursery. Visits to the local Maasai village can also be arranged.

The Masai Mara Reserve has an abundance of wildlife and is famous for the wildebeest migration. All travellers are advised to take precautions against malaria before travelling to Olonana.
Children of all ages are welcomed at Olonana Tented Camp. Children under 13 years of age are required to share with an adult and all children are welcome on game drives under the discression of the Camp Manager.
Olonana Tented Camp has a commitment to conservation. Guests staying at Olonana can help out by planting a tree in the camp's dedicated tree nursery. Trees are tagged with the donors name and help to offset deforestation in the Masai Mara. Olonana also has an innovative wetland system whereby grey and waste-water is treated and released back into the Mara River. Guests may visit the wetlands project and have a look at the constantly developing research taking place in the wetlands. An organic garden has also been set up at the camp where fruit, vegetables and herbs are grown for use in the camp's kitchen. The camp also provides training to a group of local Maasai women who craft bead-work for display and sale in the camp and for export purposes.

Tucked away down a secluded driveway, the three-bedroom Geoffrey Kent Suite takes things to the next level, with its own heated infinity pool on a wraparound deck, a private chef, housekeeper, waiter, vehicle and guide who can personalize every aspect of your safari. There are two main bedrooms, one of them with a smaller adjoining bedroom suitable for families.

There are daily scheduled flights to and from the Mara.
In Nairobi scheduled flights depart from Wilson Airport.

Flights to Olonana land at the Kichwa Tembo Airstrip where a guide will meet you and drive approximately 15 minutes to get to the camp.
If travelling by road, the drive to the Mara goes through the Rift Valley and takes approximately six hours from Nairobi.
